Family Holiday

You're all packed up and ready to go. The kids are fighting again, and your father-in-law is asleep in the back of the car.  You're heading off on another family holiday, that yearly tradition of ultimate stress and expense. What could possibly go wrong?

Family Holiday is a silly, super-rules-light  one-shot  role playing system where 3-6 Players (plus a Holiday Manager) must work with their ‘family’ (the other players - don’t worry, I’m not suggesting you play this with your actual family!) to overcome a major conflict, whilst at the same time trying not to lose their patience.

To play Family Holiday, all you need are a couple of sheets of paper, a single six-sided die and a couple of friends! The rules are intended to be extremely easy to learn, and with unique Character Creation system, it requires very little prep time! Within minutes you're in the game, starting to annoy each other!

In Family Holiday, the Holiday Manager (games master) will lead the family through a one-shot scenario, in which the family must overcome some form of Major Conflict. The rule book comes with a unique Scenario Creation System, designed to inspire the root of the story. Lets see if the family behave themselves enough to follow Holiday Manager lead!

Family Holiday uses a system of Virtues and Quirks to modify dice rolls, pushing successes! But the more you use your Quirks, the more your families Patience will run out! Be warned, if no one has any Patience left, the family will spiral into a chain of unending Quirks! Think of this as a Total Party Kill, everyone is so busy reacting to each other that no other action can be made and the holiday descends into chaos!
